Banbury is a historic market town in North Oxfordshire, ideally located between the cities of London and Birmingham. This has placed it in a unique position to grown and develop over the years, utilising its fascinating history, diverse community, and exceptional transport links. It is now a thriving town – the second largest settlement in all of Oxfordshire – with a population of approximately 45,000.

To better serve this growing town, Banbury Town Council was created in 2000. Providing a voice for the people of Banbury, the council is dedicated to improving quality of life within the town, working on parks and open spaces, landmarks including the Fine Lady on a White Horse, and of course the exciting events calendar.
