Blenheim Estate Homes and its partner Pye Homes have been nominated for five more property awards.
As well as Best Newcomer in the RESI Awards, which are organised by Property Week, Blenheim has reached the final of Development of the Year, for its Park View site, and Innovator of the Year, alongside West Oxfordshire District Council, in the UK Housing Awards.
Kidlington-based Pye Homes, which is part of Blenheim Estate Homes, is also in the finals of both the UK Housing Awards’ Homebuilder of the Year and the RESI Awards’ Small Developer of the Year.
The latest nominations are in addition to Blenheim Estate Homes reaching the finals of Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year at the Housebuilder Awards and The Public/Private Partnership Award category of the Estate Gazette Awards with WODC, and Pye Homes being voted Small Housebuilder of the Year in last year’s Housebuilder Awards.
“For our property businesses to be among the finalists in no fewer than seven different categories, across five different awards really is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the commitment, enthusiasm and hard work of everyone involved,” said Roger File, Blenheim Property Director and COO.
“From its outset Blenheim Estate Homes has been determined to create high quality, sustainable and truly affordable properties which surrounding communities can be proud of.
“Our approach, working with Pye Homes, is to build great homes that will last for many decades to come and to ensure they truly fit in with their surroundings.
“We’re proud of our growing reputation as innovators within the property sector and our commitment to address both the growing housing crisis and the urgent need to create sustainable, energy-efficient homes.
“Hopefully this kind of national recognition will encourage other large landowners to follow suit,” he added.
The RESI Awards, organised by Property Week, recognise the residential property sector and its successes.
The awards bring together the key players in the residential market including leading developers, landlords, house builders, operators, investors, agencies and local authorities.
Now in its 25th year, the UK Housing Awards recognise teams and individuals who have demonstrated a real commitment to the housing sector and whose work has made a valuable impact to the people and communities they serve.
Blenheim Estate Homes’ innovative approach to affordable housing has also been recognised as a ‘kite mark for stewardship’ by property consultants Knight Frank and was showcased as a model of best practice in the government’s Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission.
