The Restart Grant scheme supports businesses in reopening safely as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Even if your business has already reopened, you may still be eligible for a Restart Grant.
But time is running out to apply – businesses have until 30 June.
Eligible businesses in the non-essential retail sector may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £6,000 from local councils. Eligible businesses in the hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym sectors may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £18,000 from local councils.
Your business may be eligible if it is:
- based in England
- rate-paying
- in the non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care or gym sectors
- trading on 1 April 2021
Councillor Susan Brown, Leader of Oxford City Council, said: “We are reaching the end of the period for businesses to apply for grant to help them restart. We want all eligible businesses to apply, so if you think you might be entitled to some grant to help you transition from lockdown, don’t delay – apply today. The application period expires tomorrow so please apply now.”
