Oxford Official Walking Tours, which are run and managed by Experience Oxfordshire, have launched an exciting new Dreaming Spires and Splendid Ceilings of Oxford Tour.
This new tour will open the doors of some of the most important ceremonial buildings of the University of Oxford. A great way to explore the city of Oxford, perfect for the winter months, the tour is ideal for anyone interested in the rich heritage of the City of Dreaming Spires.
The tour will be led by an expert and qualified Blue or Green Badge Guide and is an opportunity to discover the fascinating traditions and mysteries of academic life in Oxford. The tour includes entry to the Sheldonian Theatre, where all Oxford University students matriculate and graduate, the spectacular Divinity School, built in the 15th Century, and finally the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, where all University ceremonies once took place.

The tour runs on Saturdays whenever possible (please check booking site for availability) at 11am and departs from outside the Oxford Visitor Information Centre on Broad Street.
Places are limited to 20 per tour; perfect for individuals, couples or groups. This tour can also be booked for private tour groups on request, at a time to suit.
